AgileInvesting was founded in 2001 by J.D. Steinhilber based on his conviction that indexed investment vehicles combined with a disciplined asset allocation methodology produces superior investment results.
J.D. Steinhilber has 14 years of experience in the securities industry. Prior to founding AgileInvesting, he was a Partner and Senior Vice President in the Corporate Finance Department of J.C. Bradford & Co. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a dual degree in Finance and Accounting.
J.D. is a recognized authority on ETFs and ETF portfolio strategies. His articles and comments have appeared in Forbes, Business Week, the New York Times, CBSMarketWatch, IndexUniverse.com, ETFInvestor.com. He has also been a featured speaker at several ETF conferences.
In addition to publishing the AgileInvesting website, J.D. Steinhilber is the President of Agile Investments, a Registered Investment Advisor that manages ETF-based portfolios on behalf of clients.
J.D. serves on the Board of Directors and the Finance and Executive Committees of Ten Thousand Villages – Nashville, a non-profit retailer of products produced by artisans in developing countries.
