About Us
J.D. Steinhilber
J.D. Steinhilber founded Agile Investments in 2001 based on his conviction that a disciplined tactical asset allocation strategy using ETFs can be employed to produce superior returns over time compared to a passive buy and hold strategy.
J.D. has 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to founding Agile Investments, he was a Partner and Senior Vice President in the Corporate Finance Department of J.C. Bradford & Co. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a dual degree in Finance and Accounting.
J.D. is a recognized authority on ETFs and ETF portfolio strategies. J.D.'s articles and commentary have appeared in a variety of financial publications (examples below), and he has also been a featured speaker at several ETF conferences.
Brenton Flynn
Brenton serves Agile Investments in a variety of functions, including investment research, operations, and client service. Prior to joining Agile Investments, Brenton spent more than three years as a securities analyst at Robert W. Baird & Company, composing investment research reports and making investment recommendations to institutional investors. Brenton graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN with a degree in Finance and has since passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation exam.
Alicia Steinhilber
Alicia is responsible for client reporting, compliance, and accounting. Prior to joining Agile Investments, Alicia managed finance and accounting functions for a small internet company. In addition, she spent over seven years in investment banking with J.C. Bradford & Co, a regional investment banking firm later sold to PaineWebber. Alicia is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
